Vietnam
I landed in Saigon vietnam also known as Ho Chi Minh, a cheap flight from chiang mai thailand. As massive and Bush as Ho Chi Minh is I found it suprisingly easy to navigate. English being common un Vietnam made it as simmple as asking airport security which bus to take to arive at my destination. After a 30 minute ride threw the busy Sigon I hopped off and walked the remaining mile to find my hostel. A cheap yet warm and welcoming place to start my journey of Vietnam. Once checked in, unloaded and Sigon beer in hand I caught up with the other travilers. Vietnam a common backpackers destination due to its friendliness twards forigners and its curency exchange rate, withdrawing $300 USD made me an instant millionare. Expats can live a life of luxary on $500 a month. In Vietnam a great meal and beer can be found for about a $1 and beautiful full furnished apartments for as low as $350 making Vietnam an excilent destnation for expats.
After a day of searching Vietnam expat facebook pages I had quickly found my stalion of choice. As Manu backpackers come and go the availibility of cheap motor bikes is an easy comodity. $180 later I was the proud owner of an all black 150cc motorbike complete with metal militia logo on the gastan. Riding a motor bike un Sigon is as fluent as a hive of bee's. What looks like a desastre in the making is a fluent dance of movement. The key to your safty and sanity is to never stop. By decelerating and working your way to the outside of the mob you easily can éxit and continúe on your path.
One of the first destinations recomended to me by others was War Remnants Museum Ho Chi Minh City. Before I began my travels...
